Fiona has just won the 'Acoustic Blues Album' category for her latest Reference Recordings release 'Professin' the Blues'.  She is the only Australian blues artist to ever be nominated in these noted international awards.  Here's how the 'Blues Blast Music Awards' work...

In early May, a group of Blues music industry professionals including music critics, journalists, festival promoters, music venue managers, producers, musicians and other Blues music industry professionals nominated the best in Blues music in twelve categories.
